Who is Hope Hicks?
Born on October 21, 1988, Hope Hicks is a communications consultant who previously was a member of Trump’s cabinet.
Before her political career, Hicks modeled for a Ralph Lauren campaign, amongst others.
In addition to modeling, she also played lacrosse in high school and later while she attended Southern Methodist University.
She graduated in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in English. After graduation, she went to work at the public relations firm Zeno Group.
Hicks moved to Hiltzik Strategies, where she worked for Ivanka Trump’s clothing line, and she later opted to work for Ivanka’s father.
Who is Hope Hicks dating?
On May 3, 2024, the Daily Mail revealed Hicks was engaged and soon to be married to her longtime partner, Jim Donovan.
Since 1993, Donovan, who’s two decades older than Hicks, has worked as the managing director and vice chairman for Goldman Sachs.
Additionally, he works as an adjunct professor for the University of Virginia’s School of Law.
According to the outlet, Hicks and Donovan will tie the knot sometime in the summer of 2024.
The pair have been romantically linked since 2020, two years after Hicks broke up with her ex-boyfriend and former White House Staff Secretary, Rob Porter.
When did Hope Hicks work in the White House?
Hope Hicks began working for Trump’s Organization in 2014 under Ivanka.
A year later, she joined Trump’s campaign as the press secretary.
In January 2017, she was appointed the White House Director of Strategic Communications and promoted to Communications Director that same year.
She held that position until she resigned on March 29, 2018.
Following her resignation, Hicks went on to work as Fox Corporation’s chief communications officer until 2020.
That year, she returned to the White House for Trump ahead of the 2020 presidential election.
After Trump lost the election, Hicks went on to was as a communications consultant.
